De brouwerij heeft een moderne installatie. Maar alle keuzes voor en na het brouwen zijn ambachtelijk. De granen worden zelf gemalen en de mout zelf geselecteerd. In het hele proces wordt er niet gefilterd en gepasteuriseerd. Brouwerij de Prael lagert bieren op klassieke wijze, vult af met nagisting en voegt geen geur- of smaakstoffen toe.
